FTR successfully defended their AEW World Tag Team titles against The Iron Savages on "AEW Collision," and were immediately confronted by their next challengers, The Workhorsemen. Later in the evening, Aussie Open also emerged as challengers and challenged FTR to a title match at the upcoming WrestleDream pay-per-view event.
