"Apple Settles iPhone 7 'Loop Disease' Lawsuit for $35 Million"
Apple has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit over alleged audio issues in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus by creating a $35 million settlement fund. Eligible U.S. residents who owned these devices between September 16, 2016, and January 3, 2023, may receive payments of up to $349 if they paid for repairs or replacements, and up to $125 if they reported the issues but didn't pay. The settlement is pending approval from a District Court Judge in California.
