Activision Blizzard has dropped its lawsuit against TikTok content creator Anthony Fantano, also known as 'TheNeedleTok', who had threatened to sue the publisher for using an audio clip from one of his videos without permission. The clip, which became a meme online, was used by Activision in a TikTok video promoting Crash Bandicoot sneakers. Activision initially removed the video but denied any wrongdoing. The company argued that TikTok's terms of service allowed for the use of user-uploaded content. The current status of Fantano's suit is unclear.
