A video published by AutoTopNL shows a 2017 Audi S8 Plus reaching an indicated top speed of 195 mph (315 kph) on the Autobahn, surpassing its manufacturer-quoted limit of 189 mph (305 kph). With a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 605 horsepower, the S8 Plus demonstrated its potential for even higher speeds. The driver lifted off the accelerator not because the car couldn't go faster, but to slow down for other vehicles on the road. It is speculated that the car may not have an artificial limiter or that the speed was based on a different parameter within the vehicle.
