No Evidence of Active Shooter or Injuries at Great Lakes Crossing and Southdale Malls
Great Lakes Crossing mall in Auburn Hills was evacuated after reports of an active shooter, but the Auburn Hills Police Department confirmed that there was no confirmed shooter and no one was hurt. The incident was caused by a group of kids fighting, and false information about shots fired quickly spread on social media. Two people were put in handcuffs during the initial fight, but they both took off and have not been found yet. The public is not in danger.
