Celine Boutier wins the Maybank Championship on the LPGA Tour after a marathon nine-hole playoff against Atthaya Thitikul. Both players made identical shots and had potential winning putts lip out, staying tied through eight tense holes. Boutier clinched her fourth title of the season with a birdie on the ninth playoff hole, finishing at 21-under 267 along with Thitikul. Rose Zhang finished two shots behind in third place.
