Navigating the Varying Rules of Self-Serve Gas Stations
Oregon residents are adjusting to the new self-serve gas bill, but rules vary among gas stations, causing confusion. Some stations have designated "Full Serve" and "Self-Serve" lines, while others allow customers to inform attendants if they want to pump their own gas. Self-serve gas is allowed at all hours in 20 counties, while the remaining 16 counties can have no more than 50% of fuel pumps available for self-serve.
