
Teens Plead Guilty in Carjacking and Death of Linda Frickey
Three out of four teenagers involved in the death and carjacking of Linda Frickey in Mid-City over a year ago have pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted manslaughter. Briniyah Baker, Lenyra Theophile, and Mar’Qel Curtis will be sentenced to 20 years in prison. The fourth teenager, John Honore, did not plead guilty. Frickey, a 73-year-old Westwego resident, died from blunt force injuries after being carjacked on Bienville Street.
