Jonathan and Rachel Cannon welcomed the first Atrium Health baby of 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Charlotte, N.C., born at 12:06 a.m. on New Year's Day, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces, and measuring 19.76 inches long. The Cannons are still deciding on a name for their newborn, who has an older brother at home. Other Atrium Health hospitals also reported New Year's babies, and all received a special beanie and swaddle blanket.
