Florida traffic-stop action links Olympic sprinters Richardson and Coleman to arrests
During a Winter Park, Florida traffic stop, Olympic sprinters Sha’Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman were arrested: Richardson faced a charge of dangerous excessive speeding (over 100 mph) plus four civil infractions, while Coleman was arrested for resisting an officer after allegedly refusing to identify himself, with police finding a glass smoking device and marijuana in his vehicle. The duo were taken to Orange County jail and bonded out, with fellow sprinter Twanisha Terry present at the scene; Richardson also has a prior domestic-violence incident at Seattle-Tacoma airport last July.
