Manhunt Intensifies as Escaped Murder Suspect Evades Capture in Multiple Cities
The search for a murder suspect, Kevin Mason, who was mistakenly released from an Indianapolis jail due to a clerical error, has expanded to multiple cities. Mason, sought for a 2021 murder in Minneapolis, was arrested last week but released two days later. More than 100 officers from various agencies are pursuing leads in the case, with the U.S. Marshals Service offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Mason's capture. Authorities have arrested Mason's girlfriend, Desiree Oliver, for assisting a criminal, and they are aggressively pursuing anyone else aiding him. Two employees were terminated due to the release error. The victim's mother described the search as unbearable.
