St. Luke's and Aspirus Health Announce Merger Plans
St. Luke's, a healthcare system operating in Duluth and Two Harbors, plans to merge with Aspirus Health, a Wisconsin-based healthcare giant. The merger aims to improve access to healthcare, expand investment in communities, and create a best-in-class care network. The combined organization will operate 19 hospitals, 130 outpatient facilities, and employ 14,000 staff. The merger is expected to be completed by 2024.
