Asha Daniels Advocates for Equality in Lizzo's Hostile Work Environment Lawsuit
Wardrobe stylist Asha Daniels has filed a lawsuit against Lizzo, alleging a hostile work environment that condones racism, fatphobia, and sexual harassment. Daniels claims that Lizzo's management team made racist and fatphobic comments, mocked Black women, denied workers medical care, and forced her to endure degrading sexual harassment. Lizzo's production company, wardrobe manager, and tour manager are also named as defendants. Daniels hopes to start a conversation about the mistreatment of Black women in the industry and advocates for equality and fair treatment in the workplace.
