"Art World Adventurer Retrieves Stolen Van Gogh Painting"
Dutch art detective Arthur Brand, known as the "Indiana Jones of the Art World," has helped Dutch police recover a stolen Vincent van Gogh painting titled "The Parsonage Garden at Nuenen in Spring." The painting, which was stolen in 2020, has been returned to the Groninger Museum. Brand worked closely with the police on the recovery, but details about how the painting was found have not been disclosed. The artwork will undergo scientific examination before being displayed again. Brand has a track record of recovering stolen art, including a Roman statue and works by Salvador Dali and Picasso.
