Michael Gill, a senior vice president of the Housing Policy Council, died after being shot during a carjacking rampage in downtown Washington, D.C. His sudden departure has left a void in the lives of his family and community. The series of crimes, attributed to Artell Cunningham, also resulted in the death of another man before Cunningham was killed by police.
