TEFAF New York: Where Art and Design Converge.
TEFAF New York, one of two annual fairs staged by the European Fine Art Foundation, fills the historic Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan with nearly 100 exhibitors showcasing modern and contemporary art and design objects, even spilling into the hallways and up to the second floor. The fair offers a deluge of furniture, jewelry, art and antiquities spanning several millenniums, often in a single booth. Megagalleries like Pace and David Zwirner lead off the fair with strong solo presentations, while galleries like Karma and Demisch Danant make everything-but-the-kitchen-sink art fair booths into coherent exhibitions.
