"ArroyoFest Revives and Shuts Down Historic 110 Freeway in Pasadena"
The Arroyo Seco Freeway, also known as the 110 Freeway, will be closed to vehicular traffic for the second time in history to host the ArroyoFest, a free and family-oriented event. Participants will have the opportunity to experience seven miles of car-free roadways, with pedestrians using the southbound lanes and wheeled devices using the northbound lanes. The event will feature three activity hubs along the route and coincide with the Lummis Day Festival. Attendees are encouraged to use active transportation, bring reusable water bottles, and support local businesses.
