Music Festival Safety Concerns Rise After Recent Shootings

An Army Ranger stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord has been accused of firing into a crowd at a Washington state music festival, killing two people and injuring two others. James M. Kelly, 26, was booked into the Grant County Jail on Tuesday on investigation of two counts of murder, two counts of assault, and one count of domestic violence assault. Kelly is a joint fire support specialist assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment at the military base. The shooting occurred at the Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre.
