Lockdown at Joint Base Andrews due to armed individual sighting
Joint Base Andrews in Maryland was placed on lockdown after an unauthorized individual was seen walking on the base with a rifle. No gunshots had been fired and no injuries were reported. The base has slowly allowed people with children to leave the property and pick up students at schools in the area. The lockdown was lifted by 6 p.m.
