The stay is free, and guests can enjoy the rustic charm of the one-room, two-bed, one-bath cottage, complete with an outhouse. Donkey, Shrek's best friend, will be the on-site concierge and promises to arrange meals, including his famous waffles in the morning. Airbnb will make a donation to the Scottish HopScotch Children's Charity in connection with the stay.

Although Shrek won't be there, the historic Ardverikie Estate, where the swamp is located, once hosted Queen Victoria. Interested guests can reserve the stay on October 13, but be aware that there is no Wi-Fi available.
