Notre-Dame Cathedral to be resurrected after devastating fire.
The reconstruction of Paris's Notre-Dame Cathedral, which was devastated by a fire in 2019, is entering a crucial phase in 2023 as the cathedral's spire is set to rise again by the end of December. The restoration work has also allowed experts to carry out archaeological digs below the cathedral's floor in search of clues to the history of the monument.
