Call of Duty expands into board game territory in 2024.
Call of Duty: The Board Game, developed by Arcane Wonders, will be launched on Kickstarter this fall and released worldwide by holiday 2024. The game aims to recreate the experience of playing the video game using novel combat, movement, and line-of-sight mechanics. It will be set in the era of the 2019 reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and include the same weapons and memorable maps. The two-player base game will be available for $50, and multiple sets can ultimately be combined for four-player matches. The game will also have cooperative campaigns and will grow and expand with its player base.
