Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, members of the band Arcade Fire and married for 22 years, have announced their separation but will continue to work together in the band. Pharrell Williams has added Arcade Fire and M.I.A. to the lineup for his Something in the Water music festival in Virginia Beach. Arcade Fire's lead singer Win Butler was accused of sexual misconduct by four people in August 2022, while M.I.A. is known for her anti-vaxxer conspiracy theories. The festival, taking place from April 28th to 30th, also features Clipse, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Wu-Tang Clan, Grace Jones, Mumford and Sons, Jonas Brothers, and Third Eye Blind.
Something in the Water music festival in Virginia Beach has added Arcade Fire, Jonas Brothers, and Third Eye Blind to its 2023 lineup, as well as revealing more artists set to join Pharrell Williams for "Pharrell's Phriends", including ASAP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, and M.I.A. The festival will also feature Lil Wayne, Clipse, Wu-Tang Clan, Grace Jones, Chic, Mumford & Sons, and Maren Morris. The free Sunday Pop-Up Church service will also return.
