Sons accused of killing parents in two separate Wisconsin homicides.
Erik Metzig, the son of the owners of Union Star Cheese Factory, has been charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly killing his parents, David and Jan Metzig, in their home in the Town of Wolf River. He was found at a YMCA in Kimberly and had been living with his parents at the time of their deaths. A journal was found in his bedroom detailing his plan to eliminate his parents, and a Glock 9mm handgun was found in a garbage bag in the garage. He faces a possible sentence of life in prison if convicted.
