Apple's upcoming tvOS 17.2 update changes the behavior of the Siri button on the Apple TV Remote, now invoking Search instead of Siri when tapped. The update also improves the search results page, allowing users to filter results for the Apple TV or Apple Music apps. Triggering Siri now requires holding the button for a few seconds. The update also introduces a new sidebar for the Apple TV app and merges the standalone iTunes Movie Store app with the Apple TV app.
