The iPhone SE 4, expected in March 2025, is rumored to feature a new Apple-designed 5G and Wi-Fi modem, replacing Qualcomm's. This modem, codenamed Sinope, has been in development for five years and aims to improve battery efficiency and dual SIM support, though it won't support mmWave 5G initially. Future modem upgrades are anticipated in 2026 and 2027, enhancing performance and features. The SE 4 is also expected to adopt a modern iPhone design, moving away from the Touch ID home button.
