Josh Duggar's appeal for a new trial in his child pornography case has been terminated, upholding his 12½-year prison sentence. The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit issued a formal mandate after denying his appeal in August. Duggar was found guilty in December 2021 on charges related to the receipt and possession of child pornography. He is expected to remain in prison until 2032. The investigation into Duggar began after authorities traced child sexual abuse material to a computer at a car dealership he owned.
