Controversy Surrounds Pride Month Merchandise at Major Retailers
A rapper's song titled "Boycott Target" reached number one on iTunes' Top Ten Chart in response to the store's Pride Month merchandise featuring the rainbow flag. Meanwhile, less than a dozen anti-LGBTQ+ protesters demonstrated outside a Target store in Miami's Midtown neighborhood. Wynwood Pride, a non-profit organization, kicked off its events to raise funds for Equality Florida.
