Mourinho's Referee Abuse Leads to Uefa Charge and Airport Confrontation
José Mourinho has been charged by Uefa over his behaviour towards referee Anthony Taylor after Roma's defeat by Sevilla in the Europa League final. If found guilty, Mourinho will face a minimum two-game touchline ban. Roma and Sevilla have also been charged over crowd disturbances and other disciplinary measures. Mourinho was filmed shouting abuse at Taylor in English and Italian before leaving the Puskas Arena in Budapest. Taylor was subsequently targeted by Roma fans at Budapest airport. Uefa has condemned the behaviour and called for greater security measures for officials.
