Venice Canal Assault Victim Dies After Life Support Removal
A woman who was severely beaten and sexually assaulted in the Venice canals last month was removed from life support after being in a coma for nearly two months. Her organs were donated, and she was surrounded by family and friends. The attack was one of two that night, with another woman surviving. Anthony Francisco Jones has been charged in connection with both attacks and remains jailed without bail.
