"The Masked Singer" Unveils Anteater and Candelabra Celebrities
John Oates, one half of the rock duo Hall & Oates, was revealed as the Anteater on "The Masked Singer," while Keyshia Cole was unmasked as the Candelabra. Oates' appearance comes amid a recent falling out with Daryl Hall over Oates' plan to sell his share of their joint venture. Oates enjoyed the opportunity to perform without the Hall & Oates image and was flattered by the panelists' comparisons to other singers. Despite the difficulty of performing in the Anteater costume, Oates agreed to do the show to reach a wider audience for his charity work. Cole was voted out, and Donut will face off with Sea Queen, Cow, and Gazelle in the finals.
