Tom Noonan: Master of Screen Menace and NYC Theater Founder
Tom Noonan, a 6'8" character actor renowned for chilling villains in Manhunter and other works, died at 74 in Englewood, N.J.; beyond film, he founded the Paradise Factory theater in NYC, wrote and directed plays such as What Happened Was... and Wifey, and voiced numerous characters in Anomalisa, leaving a legacy of immersive, challenging performances; he is survived by daughter Wanda, son Felix, and sister Dahlia Schroeder.
