George R.R. Martin Confirms Trio of Animated 'Game of Thrones' Spinoffs in Development
George R.R. Martin has announced that three animated 'Game of Thrones' spinoffs are currently in development, with one of them being an adaptation of the previously planned live-action series "Nine Voyages," following the adventures of Corlys Velaryon. The move to animation is due to budgetary constraints and the expansive nature of the story. While none of the projects have been greenlit yet, Martin is hopeful and aims to achieve a quality on par with his favorite show, "Blue Eye Samurai." Other potential spinoffs include "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight" and a Jon Snow sequel series.
