Costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago discuss how they brought back Carrie Bradshaw's Vivienne Westwood wedding dress, worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the first Sex and the City movie, for the season 2 premiere of And Just Like That. The delicate garment had to be cleaned and refit to Parker, and the feather headpiece was so fragile that a stunt-double blue bird was considered. The dress was resurrected when Carrie's Met Gala dress wasn't completed in time, and despite being her wedding dress from when her late husband left her at the altar, she wore it with a cape for one walk down her apartment steps.
