Beach Boys Mourn the Loss of Jeffrey Foskett, Member Dead at 67
Jeffrey Foskett, a longtime member of the Beach Boys, has passed away at the age of 67 after battling anaplastic thyroid cancer. Foskett was known for his musical contributions to the band and for performing in the touring bands led by Brian Wilson and Mike Love. Wilson expressed his heartbreak over Foskett's death, describing him as a talented musician and a dear friend. Foskett's last social media post in March showed him ringing a bell at the MD Anderson Cancer Center after spending four years in treatment. John Stamos, a close friend and collaborator, paid tribute to Foskett, calling him a bright light in his life and expressing gratitude for their friendship of over 40 years.
