An Anadolu freelance cameraman, Montaser Al-Sawaf, was killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. Al-Sawaf, along with his brother and other family members, was laid to rest after being attacked in the Ed-Durc neighborhood. Anadolu's President & CEO expressed condolences and condemned the killing, highlighting the danger faced by journalists in Gaza. The Israeli army resumed attacks in Gaza, defying international calls for a cease-fire, after a one-week pause. Over 15,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women, have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7.
