Minnesota Woman Charged with Blaming Twin for Fatal Amish Buggy Crash
Samantha Petersen, charged with 21 counts including criminal vehicular homicide and leaving the scene, allegedly tried to get her twin sister to take the fall for a fatal crash involving an Amish buggy and horse that killed two children and injured two others. Police say Petersen was under the influence of methamphetamine, amphetamine, and THC at the time of the crash, and evidence suggests she attempted to shift blame to her sister through recorded conversations, 911 calls, and text messages. If convicted, she could face decades in prison.
