Lilia Vu Dominates Women's Open with Second Major Win in 2023
American golfer Lilia Vu secured her second major title of 2023 by winning the AIG Women's Open with a 6-stroke victory. Vu's 5-under 67 in the final round gave her a comfortable lead, becoming the first female player since 2019 to win two majors in the same year. This marks the first time an American woman has achieved this feat since 1999. With three of the five women's majors won by Americans this year, it is the first time since 2014 that this has occurred.
