
American Airlines Plane Slides Off Taxiway at Rochester, New York Airport
An American Eagle Flight 5811, departing from Philadelphia International Airport, slid off the taxiway at Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport in New York due to snowy airfield conditions. The E-145 Embraer Regional Jet had 50 passengers and three crew members on board, all of whom were unharmed. American Airlines stated that the plane will undergo a full inspection and apologized to customers for the experience. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
