While American automakers have produced some iconic classic cars, they have also made some poor investments. The 1980 Corvette 305 California, 1982 Camaro Iron Duke, 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 1974 Pontiac GTO, and 1996 Ford Explorer are among the worst. These cars suffer from poor design, hideous styling, substandard build quality, and high maintenance expenses. The Ford Mustang II is also considered a poor investment due to its lack of power and uninspired design.
