Cities Skylines 2: Performance Concerns and Console Release Speculation
Cities Skylines 2, set to release soon, is reportedly poorly optimized for PC, running at 7-12fps on an Intel Core i9 13900KS with an AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX at 4K/High Settings. Even with AMD FSR 1.0 at 50% resolution scale, the game struggles to reach 30fps. The game does not feature Ray Tracing effects and appears to perform worse than recent Unreal Engine 5 titles. Colossal Order, the developer, acknowledged the performance issues but decided to release the game anyway.
