AMD has decided to discontinue its AMD Link mobile app, which provided game streaming, system monitoring, and video capture sharing capabilities after six years of support. The company cited the availability of numerous alternative remote gaming solutions and its focus on supporting developers as reasons for the decision. AMD is not currently offering any alternatives but is working with developers to integrate support for its Advanced Media Framework. This move comes almost a year after NVIDIA ended support for its GameStream service, leaving users to consider alternatives like Steam Link or Moonlight with Sunshine for game streaming.
