ASUS has updated its warranty policy for all AM5 motherboards to cover AMD EXPO and Intel XMP memory overclocking profiles, as well as BETA BIOS. The move comes after backlash over the handling of the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU and motherboard burnout issues. The issue stemmed from the rise in voltages and high power spikes when the motherboard was running AMD EXPO or any overclocked memory profile in general. ASUS's updated policy now covers these configurations and BIOS updates, and follows the latest AMD voltage guidelines for Ryzen 7000 series processors.
