The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team claimed their fourth consecutive Big West title by sweeping Long Beach State in the championship match of the OUTRIGGER Resorts Big West Championship tournament. With the victory, Hawai'i earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, marking their 30th consecutive appearance. Middle blocker Amber Igiede was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after leading the Rainbow Wahine with 16 kills. Hawai'i dominated in almost every statistical category, securing the win in straight sets.
