Tech Fails and Celebrity Farewells: A Recap of 2023
As 2023 comes to a close, it's time to bid farewell to the tech that died this year. Google discontinued its Google Glass AR headset for the second time, while Microsoft shut down its social VR platform, AltspaceVR. Several health and fitness products from major companies also met their end, and Netflix shipped its last DVD, marking the end of the red envelope era. Additionally, Twitter changed its name but continues to exist under a new identity, despite CEO Elon Musk removing many of its features.
