Tragic Fire Claims Lives of Numerous Animals at Alligator & Wildlife Center
A fire at the Alligator Wildlife Discovery Center in Madeira Beach, Florida, has resulted in the death of nearly 40 animals. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The owner, Sonny Flynn, expressed devastation over the loss and stated that the majority of the enclosures were made of wood, causing the fire to spread quickly. The center housed 250 animals, primarily small reptiles, and aimed to educate the public about native Florida species and discourage the ownership of exotic pets.
