
Power Outages Plague Wisconsin as Severe Storms Sweep Through
Tens of thousands of people in southern Wisconsin were left without power as severe storms, including strong winds, heavy rain, and hail, swept through the state. Alliant Energy reported over 25,000 customers without electricity, with Sauk County and Adams County being the hardest hit. MG&E also reported over 12,000 outages in the Madison area, while We Energies reported over 20,000 customers without power in southeast Wisconsin. Utility companies are working to restore electricity, but no estimated time for restoration has been provided yet.
