Davis Schools Cleared for Opening After Bomb Threat Investigation

Several schools in Davis, including Oliver Wendell Holmes Junior High, Cesar Chavez Elementary School, and Davis Senior High School, received bomb threats via email. However, after an investigation by the Davis police, all locations, including the Davis Joint Unified School District Offices and the Yolo County Library, have been deemed safe to open. The language and content of the emails are similar to previous bomb threats at the Yolo County Library.

LAX investigates suspicious bag, gives all-clear.

A suspicious bag at LAX prompted an investigation and caused traffic to be diverted from the lower level. The "all clear" was given just after 2 p.m. and traffic resumed on both upper and lower levels. No further information was given about the bag.
