Athlon Sports Recognizes Top College Football Players with All-Conference Teams
Eight BYU football players were selected to Athlon's All-Big 12 teams, with Aidan Robbins being the highest-rated pick as a second-team running back. BYU joins the Big 12 Conference officially on July 1, 2023, but preseason picks are already out. The Cougars are one of four new schools in the conference, and they tied with UCF for the most All-Big 12 picks among newcomers. Preseason favorite Texas produced the most All-Big 12 picks with 20 selections.
