Sony has released the official trailer for '28 Years Later,' the sequel to '28 Days Later' and '28 Weeks Later,' directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland. The film, set to release on June 20, 2025, follows a group of survivors living on a quarantined island decades after the rage virus outbreak. The movie is the first in a new trilogy, with the second installment directed by Nia DaCosta. The cast includes Jack O’Connell, Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams, and Ralph Fiennes, with Cillian Murphy returning as executive producer and reportedly starring.
